Called to evaluate the magnetic impact of the sources inside the Udine hospital and to develop an adequate shielding project in 2017, G-iron ArmoFlex was finally employed in the construction work of the Friulian healthcare center between the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.
Thanks to G-iron ArmoFlex’s A1 reaction to fire and its high performance, the hospital can now guarantee the protection of patients and guests against exposure to magnetic fields, in compliance with Italian law on the matter. The G-iron shielding systems work to both safeguard the health of those who make use of the hospital and to guarantee a magnetically clean environment, particularly for the benefit of more at risk individuals.
Collaboration with designers, installers and clients is an excellent example of how cooperation leads to improving infrastructures and allows the implementation of advanced technologies.
