This last Christmas has marked the culmination of months of planning with one of our partners SDI Canada, in a shielding project which is a first of its kind: the mitigation of low frequency magnetic fields to ensure proper operation of three quantum computers!
Careful assessment of electrical sources inside the building has paved the way to the design of a shielding solution aimed at keeping the magnetic field low enough for the quantum computers to work free of interference and, at the beginning of December 2023, G-iron ArmoFlex had crossed the ocean and landed in Canada.
Under the careful supervision of Mirko Soldani, our technical referent for international worksites, the material was properly installed even on irregular surfaces such as columns and ceiling drops thanks to the flexibility and mouldability of the shielding system.
