The shielding installed at an important industrial plant in Vallese di Oppeano is a flagship project for G-iron, and also a source of great pride and satisfaction thanks to the official recognition by ARPA (Tuscany and Veneto) for the excellent results that were obtained. The advantages offered by passive shielding, which intervenes to cancel the buffer zone of the power line, have also been highlighted by the National System for Environmental Protection, which underlines the effective possibility of reducing the levels of magnetic induction in living environments.
A fruitful collaboration between the actors involved and a meticulous study of the electromagnetic impact generated by the high voltage line no. 358, which was faithfully modeled within the certified software chosen by us, have allowed the development of a precise and accurate project, which was followed by the installation of flexible, lightweight and highly efficient G-iron shielding systems.
With a mitigation rate that the control bodies have confirmed as 95%, constantly monitored through 6 measurement devices, G-iron has demonstrated with facts how a well-designed and executed shielding intervention, developed in full collaboration with the Client, offers high-performance solutions at a low cost, redeeming areas previously considered unbuildable.
