Driven by a strong commitment to deliver impeccable technical answers in the assessment of the magnetic impact of frequency converters for cold ironing applications, we found in ABB – Genoa office – an attentive and highly engaged partner on this topic.
During the technical discussion, we identified the opportunity to engage ABB Oy in Helsinki for a design-focused collaboration, as a center specialized in the development and manufacturing of frequency converters.
✈️ On Friday the 6th, we landed in Helsinki (-16°C!) and, just a few hours later, we were already at the production facility.
👷♂️ We met with ABB designers and technical experts, shared our needs and experience related to magnetic impact simulations and magnetic induction mitigation, and then toured the manufacturing area, gaining first-hand insight into the construction of the converters.
A prestigious experience that enhances our company’s value and visibility, while strengthening our expertise, credibility, and international outlook. We are truly proud of it.
